Bohol is one of the more famous destinations I've been to although I really like exploring lesser known spots like Talicud Island in Samal and Bantayan Island as these islands were seldom frequented by people. But a trip to Bohol is a must for every traveler hungry for experience and everything in between. Anyway, I went to Bohol in the summer of 2008 during our team's quarterly team building and I must say it was one of my most memorable experience to date. Had it not been to my team's constant quest for outings and such, I wouldn't see Bohol before the great quake. GETTING THERE From Cebu City, you must take a boat going to either Carmen or Tagbilaran. I don't remember how much is the fare exactly but it might be around 200 pesos. One must also join a group to tour Bohol so you can save on the transportation expenses.
